sauces
salad dressings

vinegars

desserts
beverages
You don't need to always add them to a dish, either: herbs added after a dish has been served are another great way to enhance the taste, smell, and visual appeal of your dish. For example, some spaghetti bolognese with fresh basil leaves on top or a pumpkin or chicken dish with fresh sage leaves.
